Why it matters
Regulation 630 requires a handover record.
Where Regulation 630 applies, the mine operator must have a system that ensures the outgoing relevant supervisor gives the incoming supervisor a written report about the state of the mine workings and plant and other work health or safety matters. The operator must keep a copy for two years and make it available to an inspector on request.
